Islamic geometry
I began to fall in love with Islamic art as I deepened my understanding of my faith in my early twenties. What first appeared as intricate decoration slowly revealed itself as something far more profound: a visual language of unity, balance, and divine order.
Islamic geometry is a reflection of tawhid, the oneness of God. Through repetition, symmetry, and infinite extension, geometric design expresses a universe that is ordered, harmonious, and sustained by a single Creator.
Across centuries, artisans adorned mosques, manuscripts, textiles, and architecture with these sacred patterns. Geometry became a form of remembrance and quiet meditation.
